Margaret (Peggy) Clements
January 18, 1926 – September 25, 2019
Surrounded by family during her final hours, peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Peggy is reunited with her beloved husband, Harold Clements (May 2014). Loving mother of Carolyn Cordina (Martin) of Embro, Nancy Murray of Kitchener, Wayne (Betty) of Breslau, Anne Williston (Kerry) of Kitchener and George (Barb) of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Alison Smith (Evan), Trevor Dunscombe (Shari), Andrea Jansen (Chris), Bryan Williston (Katie), Jennifer Clements (Kyle) and Michael Clements (Kia). Grandma C (Great-grandma) to Megan and Kent Dunscombe and John, Will and Emily Jansen. Peggy was a longtime member of The Salvation Army Kitchener, a serious Blue Jay fan and an accomplished baker. Peggy’s life focused on her role of wife, mother and grandmother. Peggy and Harold enjoyed 30 years of wintering in Florida, enjoying time with friends from Canada and the US.
Peggy’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at The Salvation Army Kitchener Community Church, 75 Tillsley Drive, Kitchener with Majors Steven and Corinne Cameron officiating. A reception and fellowship will follow at the church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army KCC, would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to the staff at Trinity Village Retirement Studios for their care of Mom during the past six months. Mom has joined Dad, safe in the arms of Jesus.
