Kevin Meagher
1928-2019
Meagher, Kevin – Mulgrave. It is
with great sadness that the family of Kevin Meagher announces his
passing on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the Milford Haven Home for
Special Care, Guysborough.
Kevin was born in Antigonish on July 28, 1928 to William and
Alice (Carr) Meagher of Mulgrave, NS. He was predeceased by his
parents, his beloved wife, Bobbie (Barbara Alexander, Bobcayeon,
Ont.), and brothers, Terrence (Rose) Mississauga, and Gary (Adair),
Mulgrave. He is survived by his brother, Kilmer (Janet), Port
Hawkesbury, sisters, Moira Keeping, Mulgrave/Antigonish, Sharon
(Harold) Beals Halifax, and many nieces and nephews.
He loved reading, travel and history. Kevin will be truly
missed for his authentic take on the world and wry
commentary. At his request, cremation has taken
place and there will be no funeral. A celebration of his life will
take place at the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, Mulgrave at 1 p.m.,
Saturday, September 21.
