It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father Wilfred “Duvy” Duval, beloved husband of JoAnn Duval (Velduis) (2018) of 64 years. Loving father to Carolyn (George) Artem, Beverly Duval and Mark Duval (Karen Posendorf). Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Sinéad), Chad (Christina), Braden (Robyn), Megan (Tay) and Adam (Rebecca). Dear great-grandfather of Kieran and Grace Artem.
Wilfred was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as a lifetime member of the Acton Volunteer Fire Fighters.
Family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton, on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:30-9p.m. A Vigil for Wilfred will be held in the funeral home at 8:45p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Patron of Canada Parish, 64 Church St. E., Acton, on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of Flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington, Guelph, the Canadian Diabetes Association of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
