Mom enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing, and most of all loved having people visit. She enjoyed having her children over to share her thoughts and interests. She especially enjoyed family reunions and nieces and nephews weddings, where she could spend time with the family.
In Mom’s words: “To my friends and acquaintances who have visited me over a cup of coffee or tea- a fond farewell. Having the moral support of family and friends, I never felt bored. My children gave me the strength to endure life’s downfalls. Please remember me for my cheerfulness, optimism and zest for life!”
The family wish to give special thanks for the outstanding care given to Mom by Simona’s Care Home and St. Joseph’s Care Home.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Avenue North).
