Who passed away surrounded by her family at Health Sciences North on Tuesday August 27, 2019.
Beloved wife of George Herron (predeceased). Cherished mother of Barbara Von Koenigsmarck (George)(also good friend). Susan (Ron Bertrand predeceased), Nancy Herron (David Beaumont), Doug Herron (Moira MacSween) and Julie (Peter Glabb). Loving grandmother of Debbie (Perry), Melanie (Clayton), Chelsea, Jenny, Calum and Great Grandmother of Cody (Lindsey), Kayla, Brady, Kalene (Jeremy), Paige, Javin and Great Great grandmother of Owen, Ella and Evelyn Rose. Dear daughter of Richard and Florence Puddicombe (both predeceased) (Mac McKenzie predeceased). Treasured sister of Marie Moore (Donny predeceased), Margaret Mcleod (Ron), Jean Jackson (predeceased) (Rudy predeceased) and Kay Longlade (predeceased) (Walter predeceased). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Shirley was an especially good person who was always loving and generous. She was a great baker, always giving to others and had a love of crosswords, reading and shopping. We will miss her for her wisdom and grace.
At Shirley’s request there will be no visitation or service. Burial in the Minden Cemetery. Donations in her memory to the CNIB.
