Obituary of Ronald Murray Love
It is with appreciation for a life well-lived that the family of Ronald M. Love announces his passing, which occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Saint John on February 2, 1947, he was a son of the late Murray and Mabel (Stoneburgh) Love, and Step-son of the late Lillian (Milley) Love.
For Ronnie, family came first. He had a close relationship with his siblings and their families, and visited one-another often. Ronnie was a driver for Vet’s Taxi for many years, and also worked at the Loch Lomond Villa for several years. He loved watching and playing sports – especially baseball, darts, bowling, hockey and shuffleboard and was a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees and the Montreal Canadiens.
He will be missed by his siblings, Gail Sloan-Malcolm (Edward), Raymond Love (the late Mary), Barbara Rasch (Danny) of Edmonton, AB, Jim Love (Lena) and Sandra Love-Godin (Norman) and their families; Good friend, Larry White; special caregivers, Diane Phillips, Kelsey Patterson and Melanie Lucas; as well as many extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by a brother Ron Lawrence and a sister Glenna Davis.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
