Roméo Arsenault
1941-2019
Roméo Arsenault, 78, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully at
the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday August 13, 2019. He was
married to the late Lucienne (Richard) Arsenault (2007). Born in
Collette, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Edna (Martin)
Arsenault.
Roméo worked for numerous years for the NB Department of
Transport, painting highway lines.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Rachel Arsenault (Cindy
Fournier) of Harcourt, his step-daughter; Nathalie Martin (Rémi)
of Rogersville West, his step-son; Stephane of British Columbia and
his seven grandchildren; Erik, Nadia, Justin, Karina, Shawn, Brandon
and Serge. He also leaves to mourn his nine sisters; Elvina Savoie
(late Guy), Doris Sneath (late Tom), Rita Eagle (Augustin), Pierrette
Perry (Jeff) of Moncton, Jeanne Arsenault (Marise) of Memramcook, Ida
Gaudet (late Tom) of Rogersville, Yvonne Bourque (Gerard), Yolande
Bourque (France) of Collette, Irène Thibodeau (late Eldon) of
Bathurst, his three brothers; Rhéal (late Aurore) of Leominster,
MA, Gerald (Denise) of Memramcook and Emile (Loretta) of Miramichi as
well as several nephews and nieces and a special friend
Thérèse Roy.
He was predeceased by two brothers; Lionel and Edmond.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-François-de-Sales Roman
Catholic Church Chapel, Rogersville on Tuesday August 20, 2019 from 7
to 9 and on Wednesday August 21 from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will
be celebrated at the Saint-François-de-Sales Church in
Rogersville on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 11:00 am with interment in
the parish cemetery.
In Roméo’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
