Robert’s Obituary
Passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mr. Robert Reginald Rose, age 93 years of Lewisporte. Robert Rose was one of the few remaining World War II Veterans who fought over seas and served in Britain and Europe.
He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Julia Rose; wife, Margaret R. Rose; brothers, Sam and George; special cousin, Isaac Davis; son-in-law, Roy Rose. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters, Julia (David) Eveleigh, Ruth Rose; grandchildren, Robert (Christine) Freake, Peter (Tammy) Eveleigh, Adam (Valerie) Freake, Andrew (Paula) Freake, Lucas (Monique) Eveleigh; great-grandchildren, Haylee Freake, Jenna Eveleigh, Carter Freake, Nathan Eveleigh, Titus Freake, Keira Eveleigh, Declan Eveleigh; sisters, Mary Kettle, Rev. Kathleen Knott, Magaret (Rollie) Zwicker, Edith (Jim) Parsons, Joan (John) Wahay, Jane Chaulk; special nieces, Magaret Ayad, Bertha Williams, Barbra Berkshire, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte on Thursday August 29th from 2-4 & 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Pauls Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Friday, August 30th at 2 PM. Interment will follow at St. Pauls Anglican cemetery in Lewisporte.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
