It is with heavy hearts the family of Margaret Smith announces her passing on August 25th, 2019 at the age of 92. She passed away at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Margaret was a 65-year resident of Warfield.
She was predeceased by her husband Phillip, her parents Margaret & Harvey Carmichael, her sister Shirley Peeler as well as numerous other family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Terry (Vivian) Smith of Costa Rica and Randy (Sherri) Smith of Trail, BC as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Wilson, Dr. Houde, and Dr. Innes, as well as the 3rd floor staff at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for their kindness, care and support.
There will be no service at this time by request. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
