Obituary of Lorne William Kramer
KRAMER, LORNE “Sparky”
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorne William “Sparky” Kramer who passed away on August 26, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
Beloved husband of Audrey for 70 years. Loving father of daughters Kathryn Cassidy (Dennis), Kerry (Frederick Sun Cheong), Kim Entz (Ed), his son Kris (Kim). Proud Grandpa to Tegan Rossiter (Jon), Jeff Entz (Elyse), Stephanie Kramer (Trevor Burn), Lisa Kramer, and Eric Entz. Great grandpa to Adalynn and Kayda Rossiter. Brother to Jean Shinn (Ronald) of Kingston Ontario.
Predeceased by his parents Verne and Luella (nee Marth) Kramer, daughter Amanda “Kellie” Boyer, and grandson Luke Entz, his brother Ronald Kramer and sister Doris Grant.
Sparky was an ironworker for Lackie Brothers Limited for 32 years. He enjoyed weekends and holidays with family and friends at “the cottage” on Conestoga Lake for 37 years and was a member of the Rod and Gun Club, the K-W Naval Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #530.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 400 Northfield Dr. W., Waterloo on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 am. A reception will immediately follow at the church. Cremation will take place and interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
