Linda passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2019 surrounded by family. She was pre-deceased by husband John Tonasket, parents Rose & Helmer Ellison, granddaughter Cassandra, great grandson Jayden, and sisters Esther, Barb and Dianne. She is survived by daughters Brenda Tonasket (Kevin), Marie Tonasket, and son Pete Beks (Lisa), sisters Freda, Pat and Mona, brothers Will, Neil and Allan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Linda was a free spirit who loved her animals especially her horses. She touched the hearts of many around her and was a selfless person who was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand up. The family thanks all those involved with her care in her last few weeks and those who came to make her last days happy and joyous.
