McGREGOR, Lawry Lionel
Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 10, 2019
at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth
“Betty”. Loving father of Brenda McGregor, Keith McGregor,
Michelle Chaves and son-in-law Angelo Chaves. Cherished Grandfather of
Vanessa and Jordan. Predeceased by his parents Lionel and Mabel
McGregor and his best friend and brother Garry McGregor (Judy). Lawry
will be sadly missed by brothers Harry McGregor (Mary), Roger McGregor
(Colleen) and sisters Edna Cotton (Predeceased Emery), Electa Maloney
(Predeceased William), Anita McGregor – Garnham (Joe) and Anne
McGregor (predeceased). Lawry will also be missed by his many nieces,
nephews as well as his friends.
Visitation will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, N.,
Cambridge on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 5pm – 9pm. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic
Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at
11am. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society of Canada
would be appreciated by the family.
