Joseph Kulis, in his 83rd year, passed away on August 20th, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 2nd, 1936. Joseph is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Lida, who was the love of his life; his daughter Jasna, husband Luka, grandchildren Nicole (Steve), Oliver and Natasha; son Danny, wife Inna, grandchildren Stephany and Jonathan; and his extended family and friends. Joseph worked for 32 years at Stelco as a steel worker. He was a hard-working man who was always there for his family and was known for his love of gardening and travelling. Joseph took great pride in everything he did. He was honest, had great integrity and was a teacher in life. Joseph was a loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be forever missed.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:30am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road. Reception to follow at Mandarin Burlington. For those who wish, donations in memory of Joseph to Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
