Obituary of John Gerald Beaton
In the loving arms of his family, John Gerald Beaton passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, on August 25th, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Helen and Sheila (2010). Cherished Father of Jane (Martien) Joris, Tom (Paula) Beaton, Ted (Sandra) Beaton, Margaret Beaton, and Helen’s children the late Wendy (Danny) Stephenson, Ray (Brenda) Stoddart, and Randy (Penelope) Stoddart. Loving Grandfather of Jill (Andrew) Joris, Martina (Derrick) Jackson, Maxwell Joris, Shealyn (Shawn) Beaton, Ryley (Josh) Phillips, Laine (Thomas) Beaton, Marshall (Emily) Chaulk, Evan (Katie) Chaulk, and Micaela (Nic) Chaulk, and great-grandfather of Miaree, Safiya, Merrick, Colton, Reid, Lily, Joris, and Bennett. John is also survived by his sisters Evelyn (late Lloyd) Horne and Bernice (late Ernest) Barnett. John was predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Bert (Maude) Beaton, Alice (Alex) Trickett, Charlie (Louise) Beaton, Donald (Jeanne) Beaton, Annie Beaton, Danny Beaton, Ruth (John) Mowat. John will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 from 2:00p.m.-4:30p.m. and 6:30p.m.- 9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF WATFORD. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at the Watford United Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or the East Lambton Elementary School.
