In loving memory of John who passed away with family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Juliette, two daughters, Kerry and Wendy, son Mark (Irene), nine grandchildren & six great-grandchildren.
John was born in Stratford- upon-Avon, England. He moved to Canada with his wife Julie in 1955 and through hard work and study, made a good life here for his family.
John was an ardent rugby player and served in both the RAF and RCAF. He became a member of the Victoria Real Estate Board, later served as its Executive Officer and with further study, became a Notary Public. John finished his career as an Instructor, first at UBC (Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration) and later at BCIT as Instructor and Head of Real Estate Studies Program where he was well loved by his students.
John was a devoted husband and family man. He led by example and will always be remembered by his frequent quotes, “Call a spade a spade”, and “Honesty is the best policy”.
With special thanks for the kindness of the staff in Glenview at Stanford Seniors Village.
