Peacefully, at Moira Place in Tweed on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Jean Victoria Steele of Arden at age 91. Beloved wife of the late Don “Pete” Steele. Dear mother of Jim (Brenda) of Sharbot Lake and Kevin (Lorraine) of Belleville. Grandmother of Krista Steele-Webster (Kyle), Tyler Steele (Katie) and the late Tabitha Steele. Great grandmother of Kalieb Hayes Steele. Predeceased by her brother Earl Scott (late Georgina), Dorothy Bovay (late Alfred) and by her parents Archie and Victoria Scott and step-father Frank Woodcock. Sister-in-law of Reta Buker (late Gerald) of Napanee; June Hughes (Tom) of Arden; Clare (Margie) of Napanee and the late John (Regina of Kingston); Ralph (Vera); Winnifred Weese (Robert) and Boyce (Glenys). The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth on Thursday, August 22 from 9:30 a.m., followed by Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Arden Cemetery. Memorial donations (by cheque or credit card please) made to A.L.S. or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
