Entered into rest at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital ( Smiths Falls Site ) on Tuesday August 20, 2019. James Allan Nichols age 79 years, formerly of Athens. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Whitmore. Dear father of Terry Nichols ( Cindy ) of Kanata and Mark Nichols ( Tracey ) of Smiths Falls. Loving grandfather of Jeremiah, Sarah, Owen, Chase and Evan. Predeceased by a granddaughter Melissa Nichols. Brother of Jack Nichols ( Joyce ) of Windsor. Predeceased by one brother Robert Nichols and his wife Roz of Detroit, Michigan. Also predeceased by his parents, William Henry Nichols and the former Sarah ( Saddie ) Chester.
Relatives and friends may pay their respect at the Judson Funeral Home Athens, on Friday August 23rd, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Newboyne Cemetery. In memoriams to Holy Trinity Church Oak Leaf and the Canadian Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
