JACQUARD, J. Lawrence – age 96, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, Yarmouth Co., formerly of Little River Harbour, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2019 in the Villa. Born January 7, 1923 on Harris Island, he was a son of the late Samuel E. and Rebecca A. (Fitzgerald) Jacquard. Lawrence is survived by a brother, Bernard Jacquard, Little River Harbour and sisters, Frances “Flossie” Saulnier, Pinkney’s Point and Theresa Harris, New York. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers James (in infancy), Thomas, Ernest, Earl and Francis Jacquard; sisters, Viola Cottreau, Rose DeViller, Doris Fitzgerald and Mary LeBlanc. In accordance with Lawrence’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
