GERMAN, Irene M. – Age 74, of Saulnierville, formerly of Meteghan, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Born in St. Alphonse, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Exilia (Vienneau) LeBlanc. She is survived by her sons, Dwayne (Marie), Saulnierville; Randy (Kim) and Jason, both of Meteghan; sisters, Carol-Ann Whittaker and Noeline Vacon; grandchildren, Derrick, Trisha, David, MacKenzie, Dawson, Brielle, Sylvain, Tristin, Nevaeh, Gracen and Oakley; great-granddaughter, Aria. She was also survived by Lucille Maillet who was like a sister to her. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond; daughter, Cynthia; grandson, Bradley; brothers, Remi, Eddie and Leopold; sisters, Eunice, Marguerite, Joanne and May. Visitations will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, August 16 in Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, with Rev. Wieslaw Papuga officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
