Howard MacDonald
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Howard Joseph Dwain MacDonald of Cornwall, formerly of Lancaster: age 84 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth MacDonald (nee Sauve). Loving father of Dwain MacDonald (Joanne) of Williamstown, Richard MacDonald (Suzanne), Bryan MacDonald (Carole), and Joanne Lapierre (Bruce Drummon) all of Cornwall. Dear brother of Margaret Merkley of Carleton Place, and Joyce Best of Lansdowne. Dear son of the late James and Eva MacDonald (nee Strader). Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 am -10:45 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Howard a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
