Grace M. Stone
1947-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our
beloved mother, Grace Marlene Stone of Florenceville which occurred on
Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Born in Glassville, on March 1, 1947 she
was the daughter of the late Herb and Janet (Scott) Stone. She was
also predeceased by her husband, Richard Stone; brother, John Stone;
sisters, Thelma Drew, Eureda Kerr and infant sister, Mary.
Grace is survived by her loving son’s, Dustin (Leanne) and Tyson
(Laura); 3 grandchildren, Brayden, Landen and Cadence; 2 sisters,
Naomi Stone, and Susan Thompson as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family.
Grace’s « Biggest Passions » were her children, grandchildren
and Faith. You could often find Grace spending time with her family,
cheering her grandchildren on at various activities, and involved in
numerous church events and committees.
Grace was well known in the community for her many years at the River
View Manor, Bath were she retired as Director of Nursing after 30 plus
years.
In her later years Grace enjoyed retirement, travelling and
volunteering. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed
to know her.
Visitation will be held from Faith Memorial United Church,
Florenceville on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 5-8 pm. A funeral
service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the
church. The interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the FES Breakfast Program or the
Glassville United Cemetery would be appreciated.
