Grace Dunn of Hanover, formerly of Alliston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home just 4 days before her 87th birthday, August 23, 2019.
Born in Lindsay, daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Arnold) Manning. Grace was a Registered Nurse at the Alliston Hospital until retiring. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and her willingness to help others before herself. She was involved with Mission Zimbabwe projects and loved interacting with all of the children and spreading the word of God.
Married 53 years to the late Tom Dunn. Survived by loving daughters Debara Bailey-Herman (Marty) of Preston Lake, Laurie (Derek) Grundy of Hanover, son Stephen Dunn of Whistler, B.C. Special grandmother of Joshua (Jennifer) Grundy of Ottawa, Bethany (Wes) Dietz of Hanover, Sarah (Matt) Runge of St. Josephs, David (Amber) Grundy of Hanover, Caelan (Kera) Bailey of Lethbridge, Alberta and Liam Bailey of Airdrie, Alberta. Great grandmother of Max, Everett, Bentley, Laila, Cooper, William, Piper, Chase, Hunter, Arbour and Meredith. Fondly remembered by her sister Lynn Stewart of Newmarket. Predeceased by son-in-law Jeff Bailey.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service, on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm, at Hope Community Church (373 18th Ave, Hanover), Pastor Terry Den Bok officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Hanover Cemetery in the Columbarium at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Mission Zimbabwe Project appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
