Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Anson General Hospital on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the age of 56 years.
Loving spouse of 23 years of Mickey Denault. Cherished Father of Ashley McKnight of Oshawa, Edwin (Courtney) McKnight of Oshawa, Malik Reid of Oshawa, Shannon (Dirk Caldwell) Denault of Iroquois Falls, Darcy Lynn (Zack) Grenier of Val Gagné, and Albert (Adèle McLean) Denault of Iroquois Falls. Beloved Grandfather of Kane, Avery, Geravin, T.J., Riley, Victoria, Emma, Payton and Cassius and Great Grandfather of R.J. and the Late Mary-Aurora. Ed is also survived by his his siblings: Frank (Lori) McKnight, Omar (Susie) McKnight, Ingrid (Josh) Lawson, Jr McKnight and Joaquin McKnight, his best friend Andy Romain as well as numerous nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Joaquin and Audala McKnight, and his Great Granddaughter Mary-Aurora.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Ed’s Life on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Abitibi Funeral Services for a time of fellowship, sharing and light refreshments. In Memoriam donations may be made to the Liver Foundation of Canada and would be appreciated by the family.
