Obituary of Donald Allan Jones
DONALD (DONNIE) ALLAN JONES
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a wonderful husband, father, son and brother on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Donnie left us after a courageous battle with cancer at the age 58.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 34 years, Tammy (nee Cyr). Dear father of Darren (Amy) of Peterborough and Deanna (Jeff) of Bowmanville. Loving Son of Lorraine ( nee Sidsworth) of Hampton and the late Don Sr. Son- in-law of Frances Cyr of Oshawa and the late Ronald Cyr. Dear brother of Lynn (Brandon) and Jeff (Barb) of Hampton and Doug of Bethany. He will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by his good friends Keith and Ken Monk of Peterborough and Bridgenorth.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2-5 pm at the NEWCASTLE COMMUNITY HALL at 20 King Ave West, Newcastle. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, Ontario.
