Diane Harron (nee LaBatte), 72, passed away on August 5th in Chilliwack, B.C. after a battle with COPD.
Diane was born in Regina on March 6, 1947, the only child of Louis and Maria LaBatte. She went to school at Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan. She worked in a variety of fields including health care, accounting and most recently, merchandising.
She enjoyed watching movies, TV shows like the “Young and the Restless” and the X-Factor, playing board games, travelling, good times at the casino (the Skagit being her favourite), planning and cooking meals for family and friends. Mostly, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Diane is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Maria (Mary); her step-father Paul Verot, grandparents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by her three children Michelle (Tom), Nicole (Troy), Corey (Maureen); spouse Frederick Morrow and his daughters Christine and Jennifer (Scott); ten grandchildren Matthew (Riyah), Mekko, Kyle, Kristopher, CJ, Emily, Bobbie, Anthony, Declan and Reagan; her siblings Linda (Rudy), Rick, Ken (Michele), Leanne (Mike); nieces Stephanie, Alison, Danielle and Whitney and nephew Derrick (and family).
Diane was one of the kindest people you could meet, she opened her heart and home to many people over the years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Carman United Church, 7258 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, B.C. Lunch will follow the service.
