Colin Carson
With great sadness and painful hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Colin Alexander Carson on Friday, August 16 at the Ottawa General Hospital following a short illness. Colin, a wonderful man with a large, generous and kind soul, whose laugh and character touched and inspired many, is survived by his wife and best friend Bev, sister Karen, nieces and nephews and many amazing friends and family. Colin’s love of community, travel, music, spirit of sharing and generous energy for life has gifted us with many cherished memories and inspired countless good laughs. Always there for a big hug, a supportive helping hand, a kick in the butt or sharing a quiet moment. His larger than life spirit will be greatly missed and forever loved. Safe journey “Unc”. A heartfelt thank you for the very special care Colin received during his stay in hospital and for the well wishes and messages of support.. You are invited to join in a Celebration of Life on August 28th at the Long Reach Bar and Grill, 114 County Road 44 Kemptville from 4:00 to 7:00 PM In memory of Colin, donations may be made to the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary or to a charity of your choice.
