Bailey, Betty Elizabeth “Bessie” – Passed away peacefully in Belleville at Hastings Manor on Tuesday August 13th, 2019 in her 91st year. Daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Salusbury. Beloved wife of the late Frank Edward Bailey. Dear mother of Pamela Baine (Art) of Newcastle, Paula Curwain (Harold) of Plainfield, David Bailey (Shana) of Newcastle, and Janet Brooks (Tony) of Indian River. Predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Harris, Jessie Maddox, and by her brothers William, John and Tommy Salusbury. Survived by her sister-in-law Sylvia Salusbury of Toronto. Loved by her grandchildren Sarah Westrick (Alex), Matthew, Megan Elliott (George), Corey, Ashley O’Brien (Jeff), Aaron, Brandon, Daniel and by her great grandchildren Hannah, Charlotte, Austin, and Mikenna. A funeral service will be held at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Saturday August 17th, 2019 at 2:00p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society or to The Quinte Humane Society would be appreciated.
