Obituary of Ann Hayter
Kathleen « Ann » Hayter, 86 of White Hill passed away on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 in the Valley View Villa, Riverton, with her family at her side.
Born on November 1st, 1932 in Gairloch, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Lizzie (Tupper) Murray.
Ann was very active in her community and church, always willing to help out. She was a dedicated member of the Middle River Presbyterian Church for many years and was also a member of the Women’s Institute and A.M.S. Ann was involved with the Rebekah Lodge and L.A.P.M. She enjoyed a good game of cards with her family and friends. Prior to retirement, Ann had been employed with Riverton Home as a cook.
She is survived by her children; Bobby (Nancy), Edgil (Sheila), Wally (Lillian), Tim (Rosemary), Faith Chaisson and Faye (Bibs), 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine MacQuarrie, sister in-laws; Cline (Doug) Marshall and Phyllis Hayter.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Guy and a grandson.
Ann is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Rebekah Lodge will conduct their tribute service Monday at 6:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 o’clock from Middle River Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Bonnie Langille officiating. Burial to take place in Gairloch Cemetery. Family flowers only please. If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Ann may be made to the Middle River Presbyterian Church or a charity of one’s choice.
