Casey, Anne A. « Annie »
– Age 92 years of Little Dover, Guys. Co. passed away on Monday,
August 26, 2019, in Canso Seaside Manor. Annie was a daughter of the
late William and Mary (Mason) Horne. She was a homemaker,
and a member of St. Agnes Parish, Little Dover. Annie was
the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Munroe, Hazel Hill;
sons, Francis (Alfreda) and Dorian (Donna) all of Little Dover; 8
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews;
very special niece, Jean who visited Annie on a regular basis. She was
predeceased by her husband, Reginald; sister, Mary « Mamie »
Fanning; brothers, Sam, James, Andrew, and 2 brothers in infancy.
In keeping with Annie’s wishes,
visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, from 7-9 p.m. in St.
Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover, and from where the Funeral
mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 30 with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor
officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A reception
will follow in the Parish Hall.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Annie to St.
Agnes Church Fund, Little Dover. Words of comfort may be forwarded to
