Obituary of Albert Glyn Nicholas
Nicholas, Captain Albert Glyn (WWII Veteran, Royal Marine Commando):
Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday August 12th, 2019, at the age of 97. Glyn fought through North Africa, in Malta, Naples, and Yugoslavia. After the war he managed a tea estate in Bengal, India. Later, he worked for a British export company in French West Africa. His passion was pottery and he enjoyed cross country skiing, walking and kayaking. His talents included speaking several languages. Glyn was the beloved Husband of Judith Nicholas for 62 years. A loving father to his daughters Troon Harrison, and Gwedhen Nicholas. Loving Granddad to Ripley Harrison, Anna Ouckama, Peter Ouckama, and Sophie Ouckama. Son of the late Albertus and Florence Nicholas of Cornwall, England. Also missed by many friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place and private family arrangements have been made.
