Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Cosenza, Italy on August 15, 1933. Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on August 11, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Loving and devoted husband of 60 years to Caterina. Cherished father of Luigi, John, the late Marianna, Anna Cerilli (Bruno – deceased), Joe (Joanne), Teresa Malone (Rick) and Tony (Teresa). Adored Nonno of Elizabeth, Julia, the late Jack, Victor, Eric, Brandyn, Nicholas, Dylon and Andrew. Beloved brother of the late Giuseppe and Lina. Adored son of the late Luigi and Marianna Gentile. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, France and Italy. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, ON. Funeral mass on Friday 10 a.m. Holy Angels Catholic Church, 61 Jutland Rd., Etobicoke, ON. Entombment at Glen Oaks Mausoleum.
