Roland Bert Surette

Surette, Roland Bert, 65 of Yarmouth, passed away August 29,2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth ,he was a son to the late Delmer and Iola Surette. By trade, Roland was a fisherman. His love was for the outdoors, spending a lot of time at one with nature and enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards, music, sports, reading , watching movies and the company of his friends. He is survived by his sister Claire (Boyd) MacGillivray, Yarmouth and brother Allan (Linda) Surette, Yarmouth; nieces Shelley, Jennifer and Katherine. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place as per request and there will be a private ceremony at a later date. The family would like to thank the health care workers in Halifax and Yarmouth for their care and kindness and thank you to friend Patty Dorian.
