We regret to announce the passing of Geneva Caroline Tucker, age 83, from St. Jone’s Within at the Dr.G.B.Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on August 13, 2019. Predeceased by her parents, Malcolm and Sarah Jane Lambert; husband, David; brothers, Wesley Lambert, Alex Lambert (Selena) and Nelson Lambert; son-in-law, Mike Shortall and brother-in-law, John Duffett. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her children, Blanche Spurrell (Hayward), Sharon Shortall, Stella Walsh (John) and Sheldon (Jill); grandchildren, Darren Spurrell (Joanne), Terry Spurrell (Chantal), Michael Shortall, Matthew Walsh, Emma Tucker, Evan Tucker; great grandchildren, Haylee Penney, Parker Spurrell, Tripp Spurrell, Luke Cutler, Jake Cutler; sister, Susie Blanche Duffett; sisters-in-law, Loretta Lambert and Velma Lambert as well as many other family and friends. Rested at Faith United Church, St. Jone’s Within.
Funeral service , officiated by Wendy Lowden, took place on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2 pm with interment following
