Obituary of Mary Kathleen Rich
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Kathleen Rich announce her passing on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Labrador Grenfell Health, Goose Bay NL at the age of 80 years. She will be greatly missed by her children: Johnny, Williams, Leo, Max, Lucy, Manish, Naomi, Suzieanna; brother: Pien Penashue. Also leaving to mourn 51 grandchildren, large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Francis and Alice Penashue; husband Joseph Rich; son Jonas Ben Rich; daughter Kituna; 4 grandchildren; sister: Charlotte (Penashue) Pokue; brothers: Shimiu & Matthew Penashue. Visitation on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 7:30 – 9:30 P.M. Monday, August 26, 2019 at the residence 8 Spashtien, Sheshatshiu, NL. Funeral Service at the Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, NL Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2 P.M. with Reverend Joe Pichai Pillai Vellankanni officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL. Special thank you to the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation and all the people of Sheshatshiu.
