Malcolm was born in Bath, New Brunswick on September 13, 1956. In 1977, Malcolm traveled to Red Deer, Alberta where he resided until his passing. Malcolm enjoyed meeting new people. He enjoyed the company of his family and so many dear friends that became family over the years. Malcolm is survived by his daughter Emilie (Steven); grandson Maveryk; stepdaughters Jody (Craig), Bonnie (Joel); step grand children Dayne and Paris; brothers John (Lynda) and Eugene and sister Lavina (Larry); sister-in-law Elaine; nieces Stephanie, Claire, Tara, Trisha, Hannah, and Haylee and nephews David, Madison, and Jonathon.
He is predeceased by his mother, Eva, father Eugene, brother Brian, and sister in law Gail. The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone who took the time to visit Malcolm and family prior to his passing. A special thanks to all the nurses and Drs at the Red Deer Regional Hospital who attended to Malcolm and his family during his time in the hospital. The gratitude for the exceptional care and respect given to Malcolm and his family is something words can not express.
A visitation with family will be held on Sunday August 18th, 2019 at Parkland Funeral Home in Red Deer from 2-5 pm with prayers at 7 pm.
We extend our invitation to attend Malcolm’s Celebration of Life on August 19th, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Deer.
