William James « Jim » Prendergast
September 19, 1925 – August 14, 2019
Passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side at Marianhill on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 93.
William James Prendergast better known as Jim was the son of Jospeh and Agnes (nee Lisk) Prendergast. He was the second oldest of three children, Francis Verch (deceased) and brother Thomas (Helen) of Ajax.
He is survived by his loving companion of 40 years, Teresa Leech (nee Blimkie) and his 7 children, Leslie (Colleen Mc Mahon), Neil (deceased), Dale (Sally Lillico), Bruce (Andrea Hein), Tom, Colleen (Jamie Kendall), Douglas, stepdaughter Debbie and stepson Daryl (Shannon) Leech. Also survived by his and Teresa’s 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Jim will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and again Saturday morning after 9:30am. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. John’s Anglican Church, Eganville at 11am. Interment to follow in parish cemetery.
