FERGUSON, Stewart – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Dawn (née Coad). Loving father of John (Lynda), David (Trudie), Peter (Deb), and Dan (Rob). Cherished grandpa of Jennifer, Heather (Mark), Laura (Mark), and Ryan (Erin). Adored great-grandfather of Katelyn, Kiera, Emilia, Mathew, Nicholas, and Abigail. Stewart was a very proud retired Lindsay Firefighter with 34 years of service to the community. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, August 15 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.. A funeral service will take place the following day in the Mackey Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
