Age 66. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Friday August 2, 2019. Born and raised in Fall River to Jack and Bernice Carr, Gail married the love of her life, Fred of 46 years and decided to plant their roots in the community to raise their 2 sons. The love to travel had always been strong within Gail. Whenever she was not at home spending time with her grandchildren, she was hitting the open road traveling anywhere she could. Of course, stopping at stores along the way so she could get her shopping in. She enjoyed many nights playing bingo, cards and going to events with Red Hats and Seniors Guild. Gail was “mom” to many as she would open her house to anyone in need. She is survived by her sons Shane (Anne); John (Katie) ; grandchildren Tristen, Dante, Jack, Duncan; brother Mark (Tina) and many nieces, nephews and friends who are going to miss her dearly. Predeceased by her husband Fred; parents Jack and Bernice; brother Blair. A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at the LWF Fire hall on August 18th, 2019 from 2:00-6:00pm.
