Patterson, Wayne 1943-2019
Passed away at the Welland Hospital with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Lorraine. Loving father of Teri Patterson, Tracy Tweedie (Bruce) and Tammy Janeczko (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Carly, Michael, Shane, Brett, Derek, Andrew and Arianna. Great grandfather of Talon. Dear brother of Charlie Patterson (Nancy), Sandra Blue and Diane Bishop.
Wayne was a master welder and a certified mechanic. He was recognized by the federal government for his outstanding mechanical abilities. He was a true animal lover, who would raise anything from raccoons to bobcats. Wayne will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received at the PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Tuesday, August 13th from 2-4 with a celebration of life beginning at 4:00 pm, cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Killman’s Zoo (6 Unity Road, Caledonia).
