It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Meredith Jane VanGroningen (nee Sayer) on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at the age of 35. Loving wife to Bart and mother to Everly VanGroningen. Cherished daughter to David & Cheryl Sayer (nee Harek) and daughter-in-law to Jack & Mimi VanGroningen (nee Timmer). Special sister to Jodi & Terry, Lyndsay & Tim and the late Bobbie. Cherished sister-in-law to Ken & Deanna, Erik & Crystal and Reuben & Laura. Special Auntie to Meadow, Myles, Kendra & Kameron, Jada, Landon, Hudson & Blayre & Quinnton. Granddaughter to Arthur & the late Anne Harek and the late Oliver & Bernice Sayer. Meredith will also be missed by her caring and dear friends & many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at Hagersville United Church on Saturday August 10, 2019. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm and the funeral service to follow at 2pm.
