It is with deep sadness the Stimson and Water Chief family announces the passing of Keith Francis Stimson who was born and raised on the Siksika Nation survived by his Parents, Stewart Horton Stimson and Monique Water Chief. God Parents: Stephanie White Eagle and Peter Water Chief. Siblings, Kayla, Lisa, Preston, Desiree, Artina, Hannah, Theoron, Tina, Nevada. Aunties, Diane, Maria, Bertina. Uncles, Dan, Jordan, Arthur, Peter, Ira. Great Uncle, Roy Stimson. Best friend, Shayla Many Guns; Sons: Warner Joseph Zarius; Naslund Stimson.
Keith was a son, brother, nephew, dad , uncle, cousin and a friend to many. Keith attended Chief Old Sun Elementary, Siksika Nation High School and SN Out Reach he received many awards. Keith loved sports Basketball was his favorite and joined the Siksika Suns; also, Track n Field. His hobbies were riding/training horses, loved rodeos, helped out with Chuck Wagons at the Medicine Shield Ranch. He was Christian and attended various Camp Meetings in AB & SK. He completed the Painting Program at SETS. Keith loved travelling into BC and USA. His dad taught him Carpentry and worked with various Construction Companies in Calgary. Received Certified Tickets i.e. Asbestos, etc.
Keith was a well-mannered, humble, compassionate, respectful, honest, outgoing, out spoken, humorous, hardworking young man. Keith loved his family by making regular visits and keeping in touch with siblings, nieces & nephews. Keith always acknowledged you with his big smile, with that it said many things.
Keith was predeceased by his Siblings: Samantha, Tiffany, Stewart, Amanda. Grandparents: Colin & Bella Stimson, Arthur & Ernestine Water Chief. Aunties: Tina, Jerilyn. Uncles: Andrew, Jason. Foster Grand Parents: Joseph & Geraldine Medicine Shield.
Wake Service will be held at the Community Centre on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
Funeral Service on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Community Centre.
Gravesite Service at the Paul Little Walker Cemetery.
Following the Gravesite Service the family invites everyone to the Community Centre for a Feast.
Family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses Simon, Val & Meagan at Peter Lougheed Hospital; all the prayers
