of Shirley (Sam) Anne Gallant of Panmure Island, PEI. Beloved wife of
J. Roger Gallant and sister to Joe (Kay), Havendale, N.S.; Dan (Mary),
Harbour Centre, N.S.; Ron (Anne), Lower Sackville, N.S. Glenn
(Carlie), Williams Point; N.S. Wayne (Cindy), Malignant Cove, N.S.;
Allister (Nancy),Larry’s River, N.S.; Eileen White (Tom),
Country Harbour, N.S.; Rick (Pam), Antigonish, N.S.; Helen Halloran
(Leo), Porter’s Lake, N.S. Terry, Guysborough Intervale, N.S.;
and sisters-in-law, Donna Robertson, Lakevale, N.S.; Kim MacLean,
Maryvale, N.S. and Edwina Chisholm, Antigonish, N.S. Predeceased by
her parents, Frederick Brydall Chisholm and Edith Francis Strachan,
Guysborough Intervale and brothers Bobby and Jerry and nephew Matthew.
Survived by her mother-in-law, Evangeline Gallant, Wellington, PEI.
Also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews
and over 20 more nieces and nephews by marriage. Predeceased by her
sister-in-law, Claudette Arsenault, Wellington, PEI. In accordance
with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no service. A Celebration
of Life will be held at the family home on Panmure Island later this
Summer. Memorials donations may be made to Craig’s Cause
Pancreatic Cancer Society or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Foundation.
