Sarah’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Sarah Hillier announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons; Barry Hillier (Agnes), of Toronto, On, and Andrew Hillier (Gerri-Lynn), of Chillwack, B.C, her grandchildren; Andrew Hillier of Corner Brook,NL, Nicole, and Aprille Hillier, her two great grandsons; Connor E. Hillier and Cameron W. Hillier of Corner Brook, NL, Catherine Young, of Corner Brook, NL, Nellie Everson, of Torbay, NL, Vera (Wallace) Evans, of Clarkes Beach, NL, Shawn (Ann) Piercey, of Howley, NL, and Nita (Lloyd) Hillier of Baker, N.S, Sarah was predeceased by her husband; Ernest Hillier, her parents; John William and Elizabeth Jane Young, brother; Charlie Young, sister; Mary Warren, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Anglican Church, in Howley, NL, on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and continuing on Sunday, July 7th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, July 8th, 2019 at 1:00 pm, with Canon Paulette Bugden officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, in Howley, NL.
