Obituary of Sandra Rennie
With heavy hearts and a great sense of loss, we announce the passing of Sandra Rennie. Sandra passed away on June 18, 2019 at the Norwood Capital Care Centre in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 71 years.
Sandra Ruth was the first daughter born to Tom and Margaret Tribe on December 4, 1947 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was raised in Edgerton, Alberta surrounded by family and friends. She was big sister to first, Wayne and then Brenda.
Following schooling in Edgerton, Sandra moved to Provost where she worked at the Hillcrest Lodge until she met John Rennie of Hayter and shortly after became a farm wife in 1966. Together they raised their family, Jack, Jamie and Kari on the family farm until her health required a move to Edmonton.
Sandra will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 53 years, John; children, Jack (Laureen) Rennie, Jamie (Danette) Rennie and Kari (Dale) Evans; grandchildren, Drake Rennie, Karlin Rennie, Kailey (Garret) Acton, Ty Rennie (Kennedy), Zoe Rennie (Kolby), Shanelle Evans (Josh) and Bryson Evans; brother, Wayne (Ann) Tribe; sister, Brenda (Gary) Mills; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Tom & Margaret Tribe.
