Salome Doucet
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Salome Doucet, which occurred at her residence, Villa Sormany in Robertville, NB. on July 27, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Alexander Carrier and wife of the late Chester Doucet.
Salome is survived by her son Darin (Mireille) of Petit Rocher; grandson Ryan; brother Almond; all of her loving nieces and nephews as well as her godchildren Dorina (John Brown), Carmella (Eric Carrier), Karen (Daryl Hickey), Lucien (Wanda LaPointe), Maxwell (Nadine Perron) and Jeffrey (Delise Bento). She was predeceased by her sister Sadie and brothers Alfred, Arnold, and Ralph Carrier.
Salome was passionate about gardening, planting her beloved vegetable garden and flower beds in the springtime. Everyone who visited her was greeted with a warm cup of tea and cheerful conversation. She will be sadly missed.
Her funeral will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church Lorne, Friday, August 02, 2019 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
