Ronald “Ron” Manuel
1944 – 2019
Ron Manuel, husband of Yvonnisse (Gallant) Manuel of Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday evening, July 29, 2019 at the age of 75.
Born in Chatham, on April 8, 1944. He worked for CN in Moncton for the first part of his working career before moving back to Baie Ste Anne and becoming the Bank Manager of the Caisse Populaire. He worked for an Investor’s Group and then finished his working career with the Baie Ste Anne Fisherman’s Co-op as the Manager. He was part of the board of director’s for the Miramichi Hospital and Caisse Populaire. He truly enjoyed golfing as a great pass time.
Ron is survived by his wife of over 50 years Yvonnisse (Gallant) Manuel; one daughter, Huguette Manuel Gardiner (Sinclair) of Napan; two sons: Claude Manuel (Flavie) of Moncton and Denis Manuel (Paula) of Fort McMurray, AB; six grandchildren: Joshua, Charmaine, Cedric, Alycia, Danielle and Nadia and one great grandson, Jayden; two sisters: Melinda Theriault of Baie Ste Anne and Antoinette McIntyre of Miramichi. He was predeceased by his parents Caroline and Raphael Robichaud, daughter Lise and son Paul.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 306 Water St., Miramichi on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11 am with Father Paul LeBlanc as Celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Ste Anne, NB.
