The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, Robert “Bob” Neil Nichols, of Woodstock, Ontario on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at VON-
Sakura House, Woodstock surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73 years. Loving husband and best friend of 51 years to his wife Sherry (nee Webb). Loving and caring father to Kim Sinke and her husband Albert; Benjie “Ben” Nichols and his wife Michelle. Proud grandfather to Tyler, Mitchell, Connor, Brenden, Zach and Ethan. Bob loved fishing, playing baseball, walking to Cutchies to socialize and he loved his gardening. Bob was employed with Woodstock General Hospital, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital for most of his career. At the request of Bob, cremation has taken place. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the VON-Sakura House by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 3T6 (519)842-5221 who have been entrusted with arrangements and would be appreciated by the family.
