SIMON, Norma – With sadness we announce the passing of Norma (Nettie) Simon peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Nathan Simon. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Heather and Martin Goose, Rhea and Paul Gold, Lisa and Barry Green, Irwin and Daryl Simon, and Lorne Simon. Loving sister of Faye (Tootsie) David, and Louis Allen, and sister-in-law of Ruth Simon. Proud grandmother of Danielle and Stuart, Michael and Jamie, Rebecca and Mike, Jillian and Dave, Tamara and Bram, Brittany and Shai, Noah, Nicolette, Trevor, Garett, Lucas, Spencer and Dawson, great-grandmother of Nathan, Lexi, Serena, Dylan, Jake, Brody, Levi, Alex, Isaac, Jackson, and Reese. Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her long time compassionate care givers Sally and Sonia. At Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be held in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Shiva will be held at 155 St. Clair Avenue West commencing Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m..
