Obituary of Nancy Jane Plunkett
Nancy Jane Plunkett (née Mutch) of Toronto died peacefully on July 9, 2019 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Brenda Zimmerman. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Ron Plunkett. Deeply missed by children Ross (Linda), Carol Anne Armstrong (Neal) and Jody Kinsey (Bob); grandchildren Julie Plunkett (Jeff Boulton), James Plunkett, Steph Zimmerman, Jill Kennedy (Greg), Scott Armstrong, Trevor Armstrong (Kalyn), Sharon Armstrong, Heather Kinsey, Emily Kinsey, Marc Hayday and Emily Hayday; great-grandchildren Ashton, Rylan, Tenleigh, Lily and Carson. Nancy’s laughter, kindness and story-telling brought joy and comfort to all who knew her. She was the cherished matriarch of the family. The family wishes to thank the excellent teams at Sunnybrook Hospital (Emergency Orange, C-6, palliative care) who cared for Nancy with such great compassion. A memorial service will take place 1pm Oct 26 at Northlea United Church.
