HORTON Myrl Edward
November 28, 1952 ~ July 21, 2019
Myrl passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Lorie (nee Botting) at home after a 3 year long battle with cancer on Sunday, July 21, 2019.
Survived by his daughters; Beverly Boyce (husband Richard), Lenore Horton and Richard Thomas, his son Timothy Horton and Brenda and his dog Buddy. Also his grandchildren; Colin, William, Olivia and Spencer a great grandchildren; Jace, Tyler, Tyson and Declan. Myrl was the son of the late Cecil and Eleanor Horton (nee Russell). He was the brother of Mervin Horton and Pat, Theresa Lyle and Melcolm, Larry Horton and Angel, Tim Horton and Lise and missed by many nieces and nephews.. Also left to miss him are Lorie’s family; Mike Botting and Margaret, Cindy White and Dan, Bonnie Harris and Jeff, Kim Rousselle and Marcell and his little “Bro” Robert Botting and Nancy as well as his loving mother-in-law Margaret Holinshead (Botting).
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Bethel, 35 Silverwood Drive, Huntsville, ON at 1 p.m. A reception will follow.
